Zargar Zahoor embarked on his artistic journey in 1971, enrolling at MS University of Baroda to pursue his undergraduate studies. Overcoming challenges with the unwavering support of his mother, he became the first individual in Kashmir to obtain a Master's degree in Visualization. In 1985, Zargar joined the esteemed Faculty of Fine Arts at Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), where he spent three decades leaving an indelible mark. His canvas became a testament to his talent, adorned with the vibrant hues of sunrises and sunsets, as he cultivated a style truly his own. Alongside his teaching career, Zargar seized precious opportunities to collaborate with renowned artists, etching his name in the annals of Indian art history.
